My mom sent me this picture this week. As of now we are thinking she pretty much looks like her mom.....what do you think? Now we just need a baby picture of Byron for comparisons sake. I wish I would have taken a newborn picture with her hat off so you could see all of her hair. We were just worried about keeping the tiny thing warm. Can't believe she is already 3 weeks old.

2 Weeks Old

Time is going so fast I cannot believe it. We have had so many special visitors it has been wonderful. Today we had our 2 week appointment and Sally is growing like a weed. She is already 6lbs 5 oz so she is doing GREAT. My mom went home today :o( so now we are on our own......I suppose we have to get back to life sooner or later. We enjoyed Aunties Jordana and Eliza for 5 days too. All the help has been wonderful. Here are a few more photos for you to enjoy.

4 days big

Thank you everyone for all of your fun comments and for checking in. Sorry we have been a bit slow at keeping updated, but man the time flys when your feeding and diaper changing. Overall things are going great, we are still trying to adjust to all the fun things that come with having a baby. I still can't believe that she is here and that she is ours. She is so little that we had to go out and get her premie diapers and clothes. The nurse came to the house for her 2 day check and she had only lost 2 oz and everything was great. The pictures don't really show just how tiny she is, but boy is she sweet. My mom has been here helping out gobs, keeping our tummys full and keeping up on the laundry and much much more. Grandpa Kelvin and Grandma Carie flew in and got to see Sally when she was just over 24 hours old. Uncle Byron and Auntie Kerry and cousins Maria and Weston came to visit too. Still can't believe she's already 4 days old!!

IT'S A GIRL!!!

Sally Jane was born this morning at 8:12 am. She weighed in at a whopping 5lbs 8 oz!! She has a head full of red hair and has all 5 fingers and toes. We are really happy with our little peanut. We went into the birthing center this morning at 4:00am and came home at 1:30pm this afternoon. We will get some more pictures up later on for now we must get some sleep.

Newest Newz...........

Still no baby........but I did have an appointment with my midwife today and everything looks good. Baby is at a -2 station, which means the head is engaged and I am dilated 3 cm with a "squishy" cervix. All good indications of nothing!!!! :o) Waiting for childbirth is such a guessing game. Anyway, basically, I think my body is pretty much ready, we are just waiting for baby. So far I think baby really likes it in there as my spicy food, my 2 mile walks with lunges, skipping, hopping, running and squatting have done nothing for me. However, I'm sure all the on-lookers were much amused. Next time maybe I will try some ultimate frizbee or a soccer game......haha. Keep checking in though, we are excited to share the news when the baby does finally decide to appear.

Also, for those that really don't care about the birthing experience so much, you can check out www.denverjusticecenter.com to see the latest happenings on Byron's job site. They are building a new court house and justice center attached by an underground tunnel that I don't think you will be able to see. Cheers!

Still Waiting......

Thanks to everyone that has been commenting and voting on our blog. It's been so good to hear from all of you. For all of the curious folks.......we are still waiting for baby. I had to go for a follow up ultrasound yesterday because I have been measuring small - but everything looks good. Baby is little, but it did grow about a 1/2 lb over the last week so now they are guessing 6 lbs 3 oz. and 2 days till my due date!!! I just keep walking and walking.

I am going to repost some pictures here that I messed up on last time so sorry about the repeats.
