Spring Fun

I didn't anticipate that it would take me 3 months to update my blog again, but this seems to be my trend. I don't spend very much time at the computer and it does seem to take a fair bit of time to get all the pictures organized and the blog updated, but alas....our happenings in reverse order.

In other news Sally is doing great, we finally have hit the 20 lb mark (maybe I mentioned that on the last post...) Her vocabulary is expanding by leaps and bounds and she is forming some very nice 2 and 3 word sentences, it is always fun to hear what she has to tell me and sometimes it is still a bunch of jibrish, but cute nonetheless. Also, most of you may know already, but we are expecting baby number 2 in November so we are excited about that as well.

We are looking forward to conventions this month and I will really try to keep you better updated!

This was our favorite 2 year pic of Sally. In fact it was so great they hung it up in the target photo studio!!

We went to the "big zoo" with our cousins that came to visit for the weekend.

We had a tree blow over in our yard at the end of May and here is a bit of the damage...we were really glad when they finally came and removed the tree...the siding however is still not fixed...groan. (We were happy to be renters on this particular day ;o)

Over Memorial Day we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa in Green River and they took us around the Flaming Gorge. It was beautiful weather and a much enjoyed excursion.

Some finger paining with a brush since she doesn't like her hands to be dirty....

We spent a week up with my folks in WY and every morning Sally would go for a walk with Papa to the river then they would feed the horses and sheep and bring the baby lambs into the yard to graze......one morning he forgot to take her and she brought me her jacket and said "papa walk"

Maria and Sally playing in Papa's corn, they played in this for over an hour!!
Papa has baby turkeys and Sally loved them!

My seedling that I planted early this spring.
Getting the garden ready.
I think this is really sweet...
An earlier trip to the zoo with some really special friends!
